Ministry Of Health Workers Cannot Work Flexible Hours

Al-Awadhi, the Minister of Health, confirmed that flexible working hours are not suitable for the Ministry of Health's work. According to the Al-Rai daily, the Ministry has not issued a decision regarding flexible working hours because "the nature of work in all of the Ministry's facilities is not compatible with them,"   

As Al-Awadhi responded to a parliamentary question submitted by MP Osama Al-Shaheen, he stated that the "Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has already issued Administrative Resolution No 637/2023 stating flexible working hours from Sunday to Thursday, seven hours of work in accordance with this decision."

"Employees must report to work between 7 and 9 am if they have completed 7 hours of work without prejudice to the grace period." stipulates the resolution's second article.
