Ministry Of Education Ceases Citizen Teacher Appointments In Select Specialties
In a strategic move, the Ministry of Education has redirected the appointment of citizens from certain educational specialties to administrative transaction coordinator positions, signaling a shift in priorities within the education sector.
This decision, as reported by Al-Anbaa newspaper, encompasses graduates from various educational institutions, including Kuwait University and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training. Notably, both domestic and foreign university graduates are being considered for these administrative roles.
Among the educational specializations targeted for administrative roles is physical education, according to sources familiar with the matter. The determination of titles for these positions is overseen by the Civil Service Commission, with considerations given to specific workplace requirements.
Sources further elaborate that after the nomination process by the bureau, individuals are assigned to designated positions based on the needs of educational agencies. Clarifying the scope of inclusion for this category, sources emphasize that the teacher cadre exclusively covers those in teaching roles.
