Mangaf Fire: Indian Minister To Visit Kuwait As Death Toll Increased To 49

Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh will be travelling to Kuwait to oversee the assistance to those who are injured in today's fire tragedy.

Minister will coordinate with the Kuwaiti authorities to facilitate the early repatriation of mortal remains of those who have died in this unfortunate incident.

Earlier, the Indian Ambassador visited the labour camp and also the hospitals where Indian workers are admitted. Ambassador assured all care and assistance.

Meanwhile, the death toll in the incident increased to 49, majority of them are Indian nationals.
