Light Technology Developed By Kuwaiti Artists To Be Displayed At The Fifa World Cup

Kuwaiti fine arts specialist Muneera Al-Qdairi will showcase her innovative light technology project at next week's showpiece event in Qatar.

She told KUNA on Wednesday that her project involves an illuminated glass object that is used in submarine construction, emphasizing that the Gulf Arab region's rich marine heritage is reflected in the artwork.

A global showpiece spectacle such as the FIFA World Cup would serve as a fitting venue for her project, which was the result of years of diligent work.

With a doctorate in fine arts from the University of Tokyo, Al-Qadiri has exhibited her work in countries including Italy, the US and Germany.
