Kuwait's Gold Demand Rises - Coins Are In High Demand

The World Gold Council reports that Kuwaiti jewelry demand increased by eight percent annually during the first nine months of 2022, reports Al-Seyassah. According to the website "Live", Kuwaiti demand for jewelry during the first nine months of 2022 was about 10.8 tons, up from 10 tons in 2021.

Kuwait's total demand for gold coins for the nine months to September 30 increased by 22.2% from 2.7 tons during the same period last year to 3.3 tons.

Kuwait's demand for jewelry increased by 37 percent annually to 4 tons in the third quarter of 2022 compared with 2.9 tons last year. During the second quarter of 2022, Kuwait's jewelry demand increased by 5.26 percent to 3.8 tons.
