Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Strengthens UAE Ties
The state visit of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the UAE underscores the robust relations between the two nations, according to Emirati media.
In statements to KUNA, UAE media personalities emphasized that the Amir of Kuwait's visit reflects the shared commitment of both countries' leaderships to fostering further cooperation and collaboration.
Mohammad Al-Raisi, Director-General of the UAE News Agency (WAM), affirmed that the ties between Kuwait and the UAE are deeply entrenched in history, underscoring that the bilateral relationship mirrors the common heritage shared by both nations.
Similarly, Dr. Ahmad Al-Mansouri, Head of the Media Department at UAE University, described the Kuwaiti Amir's visit as a significant opportunity to strengthen the longstanding ties between the two countries. He highlighted the potential for discussions between the leaders to facilitate increased cooperation and coordination.
Al-Mansouri also emphasized that the visit offers a valuable platform to address ongoing political developments, particularly the aggressive actions of the Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians.
Abdulraheem Al-Nuaimi, CEO of Marketing and Communication at Abu Dhabi Media Network, asserted that His Highness the Amir's visit to the UAE is part of a longstanding tradition of mutual visits between the ruling families of both countries. He highlighted the robust economic cooperation between Kuwait and the UAE, citing non-petroleum trade figures reaching 300 billion dirhams over the past decade.
Meanwhile, Hamad Al-Kaabi, CEO of Al-Eitihad News Center, characterized the visit as compelling evidence of the strength and stability of Kuwaiti-Emirati relations. He emphasized that this strength is reflected in diplomatic positions across various spheres, with both countries actively advocating for peace and stability regionally and globally.
