Kuwaitis Purchase Emirati Stock Worth 29.1 Million Dinars

348.9 million dirhams, or 29.15 million dinars, were spent by Kuwaitis in the first half of this year, while the market value of the listed shares increased by 23%. The Kuwaitis bought shares on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange for 348.9 million dirhams (equal to 29.15 million dinars) over the past six months, and they sold those shares for 422.5 million dirhams (equal to 35.3 million dinars), bringing the total net selling transactions since the year's beginning to 73.5 million dirhams (equivalent to 6.14 million dinars).

At the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council nations, the Gulf's purchases on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange during the first half of this year came to about 3.3 trillion dirhams (equivalent to 275.96 million dinars), compared to sales of 3.31 trillion dirhams (equivalent to 277.25 million dinars), for a net profit of about 3.3 trillion dirhams (equivalent to 275.96 million dinars). They made 15.39 million dirhams in sales in the first half (equivalent to 1.29 million dinars).

With purchases totaling 64.78 million dirhams (equivalent to 5.41 million dinars) and sales operations totaling 81.56 million dinars dirhams, the net value of trading by Kuwaiti investors on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange during the month of June was approximately 16.78 million dirhams (equivalent to 1.4 million dinars) (equivalent to 6.81 million dinars).
