Kuwaiti's Average Salary Is 1548 Dinars In The Public Sector And 1286 In The Private Sector

By the conclusion of the first quarter of 2022, Kuwait's earnings for citizens and residents had variedly increased; the average monthly wage for citizens had increased to 1,504 dinars on an annual basis, while the average wage for expatriates was 342 dinars.

According to a local Arabic newspaper, the average citizen's pay grew by 25 dinars at the end of March 2022, reaching around 1504 dinars, up from 1479 dinars at the end of March 2021. The average salary of a citizen in the government sector at the end of March 2022 was 1548 dinars, compared to 1534 dinars at the end of March 2021, while the average salary of a citizen in the private sector was 1286 dinars pe. As a result, the increase in salaries of citizens working in the private sector was more than 4 times greater than those working in the government sector, at 65 dinars for those in the private sector and 14 dinars for the "government."

Non-Kuwaitis saw a rise in their average monthly pay from the end of March 2021 to the end of March 2022 of 18 dinars, from 324 to 342 dinars, and expats working in the government sector saw an increase of roughly 19 dinars to 741 dinars per month, from 722 dinars. Expatriates employed in the private sector reported a rise in their average monthly salaries at the end of March 2021 of 17 dinars to 321 dinars as opposed to 304 dinars at the same time in the previous year.
