Kuwaiti Minor-crime Offenders Are Freed By Cabinet Decree

Under the leadership of His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the cabinet convened its weekly session at Seif Palace. As a result of the meeting, Issa Ahmad Al-Kandari, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, informed the Cabinet of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and preserve him. In accordance with His Highness the Amir's specific instructions, certain citizens who had received sentences were pardoned. In adherence to the royal directives, the Council of Ministers approved a draft decree granting clemency to individuals who are wanted on minor charges, forwarded to His Highness the Amir.

The Council of Ministers expresses its deep gratitude to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. A noble gesture like this further solidifies the principles of tolerance and elevation established by Kuwait's leaders.

In addition, the Council of Ministers discussed matters pertaining to the National Assembly. In this context, they discussed the agenda items scheduled for the November 28th and 29th regular session of the National Assembly. As part of its commitment to enhancing the relationship between the executive and legislative branches, the cabinet reiterated its commitment to fostering collaboration with the National Assembly.
