Kuwaiti Citizens Make Up 34% Of The Population

Kuwait's population was 4,385,717 million in 2021, with 1,488,716 million Kuwaitis, or 34 percent, compared to 2,897,001 non-Kuwaitis, or 66 percent.

According to the Central Administration of Statistics, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Civil Information, Kuwaiti males numbered 729,638, or 49 percent of the population, while Kuwaiti women numbered 759,078. In addition, there were 1,941,628 non-Kuwaiti males, or 67 percent, and 955,373 non-Kuwaiti females, or 33 percent, according to the census.

Residence violations reached 151,992, entry visa violations reached 44,879, and visa violations reached 26,985.

According to Mazen Al-Nahedh, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, statistics play an important role in development planning because they provide the backbone for any development plan. He emphasized that development can never occur without planning or statistics.
