Kuwaiti Citizen Died Of Stab Wound By Another Citizen

A Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s died of stab wound infl icted by another citizen in Qaraiwan area. The suspect, 21 years old, stabbed the victim (friend of his father) inside a car after a quarrel at the family’s diwaniya.

The victim and the suspect are said to have engaged in a heated argument while inside a car, and the latter stabbed him in the shoulder. The victim reportedly became unconscious due to excessive bleeding from the wound.

A security source said the suspect initially drove the victim to the Amiri Hospital but later changed his mind due to a large gathering he witnessed in front of the hospital. He then decided to take the victim to Sabah Hospital, and abandoned him at the main entrance. He went back home and reported the incident to his father.

Petrified by the barbaric act, father of the suspect rushed to Sabah Hospital to follow up the condition of his closest friend and learnt he succumbed to stab wound inflicted by the son. He immediately reported the incident to the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry and security operatives arrested the suspect. He has since been referred for further investigation.
