Kuwaiti Astronomer Dr Saleh Al-ojairi Died At The Age Of 102

Dr. Saleh Al-Ojairi, a well-known Kuwaiti astronomer, died at the age of 102.

He was Kuwait's and the Arab world's most experienced, well-known, and respected leader. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah offered heartfelt condolences to the Al-Ojairi family, pleading with Almighty Allah to grant him forgiveness.

Dr. Saleh Al-death Ojairi's was also mourned by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

Saleh Al-Ojairi was born on June 23, 1920, in Cairo, Egypt. He wrote several works on astronomy for the Arab world and was instrumental in the creation of the Al-Ojairi calendar, which the State of Kuwait has adopted for all official transactions.

Kuwait University bestowed honorary doctorates on him in 1981 and 1988.
