Kuwaiti And Us Armies Compete In Cyber Security

In partnership with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, the US Army Central Command is organizing a cyber security competition, Al-Jarida daily reports. In a video recording on the US Embassy website in Kuwait, the Director of Cyberspace at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Mohammed Bouarki, said, “In the past 24 months, the world has witnessed cyberattacks that claimed more and more victims, including national facilities and chemical companies around the world.” He added, “For this reason, we are excited to talk about this year’s Best Cyber Warriors competition, and the teams will show their technical abilities through many diverse tasks.”

"Both governments want to present and intercept the continuing number of cyber threats by learning how to protect ourselves with the right tools and countermeasures.", said US General Robert Powell, commanding general of the 335th Signal Unit.
