Both initiatives played a major factor to the economic summit via giving hope to Arab nations suffering from wars and conflicts. In this regard, the Arab League called on member-countries and the private sector in particular, to help governments to implement decisions issued in the field of human investment and development. It stressed the current refugee issue in the Arab world as the worst humanitarian disaster since the end of World War II due to the large number of displaced people seeking refuge and the enormous amount of humanitarian aid given through different donor conferences.
On media level, although the level of representation was not as expected, and has not received widespread media attention on the Arab and international level, Lebanon succeed in organizing the event and provided all media services required.
