Kuwait; Plastic Pieces Found In A Swedish Frozen Vegetables

Specifically, frozen vegetables coming from the Kingdom of Sweden contain harmful objects, according to the Head of the Preventive Health Department at Farwaniya Hospital.

Reports cited by Al-Jarida in its report to the Director of Farwaniya Hospital state that the International Food Safety Network received a letter on February 16, 2022 that said foreign objects (plastic pieces) found within Swedish frozen vegetables had already been distributed in Kuwait.

By way of a letter, the hospital director was instructed to inform all departments and ensure that any confirmed stomach flu cases resulting from consumption of such products were promptly reported.
