Kuwait Municipality Issues 20 Warnings For Construction Violations
Kuwait Municipality has issued 20 warnings for non-compliance with construction and restoration work in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate in the past week. This enforcement action is part of an ongoing field inspection campaign aimed at detecting violations related to construction activities.
According to Muhammad Al-Marri, the acting director of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality's Engineering Audit and Follow-Up Department, the inspection initiative seeks to ensure that Kuwait Municipality's construction and restoration laws and regulations are strictly followed.
A recently constructed building was checked for proper electrical supply during recent inspection rounds in Sabah Al-Salem, specifically targeting private and investment properties. A total of six construction violations were documented by the team throughout the week in various areas of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate.
Al-Marri highlighted the challenges faced by field teams, including increased construction rates. Such violations not only breach regulations but also pose significant risks to the safety of both citizens and residents. During these field tours, he stressed the importance of educating citizens about municipality laws and regulations, emphasizing the dangers of exceeding prescribed construction limits as well as the importance of ensuring compliance.
