Kuwait Meteorological Department Forecasts Rainy Conditions

Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, the Director of the Kuwait Meteorological Department, has reported that Kuwait is currently experiencing rainy weather, which commenced in the early hours of Monday morning and is anticipated to persist until the afternoon. Al-Qarawi, in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), mentioned that the weather is expected to gradually improve later in the evening as a high-pressure system moves in from the west.

He elaborated that these rainy conditions are the result of a superficial depression accompanied by warm and humid air masses, coinciding with the presence of a deep depression in the upper atmosphere. This atmospheric combination has led to the formation of low and medium clouds, along with cumulus clouds, resulting in light to moderate rainfall, active winds, reduced visibility in some areas, and waves in the sea rising to more than six feet.
