Kuwait Lists 16 New Covid-19 Cases

Kuwait’s confirmed daily coronavirus cases rose by 16 to 412,768 while no deaths were reported leaving the total unchanged at 2,462, the health ministry said on Thursday.

Another 34 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 409,991, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.

The number of people hospitalized with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 13, five of whom have been admitted to intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 315 are receiving regular treatment.

Some 14,773 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 4,892,313, mentioned the official.
