Kuwait Imported 46 Kilograms Of Gemstones In 3 Months

Kuwait imported around 46.2 kg of precious stones from January to the end of March 2022, according to official figures released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Precious Metals Department.

According to a local Arabic newspaper, these jewels are used in watches, rosaries, and numerous accessories, as well as clothing and luxury bags, and accessories and mobile phone accessories. Fees of 2,300 dinars are claimed to have been collected by the department.
