Kuwait Detains 31 Expats With 14 Kgs Of Drugs And Unlicensed Firearm

In a recent anti-drug operation, 31 expatriates have been apprehended in connection with 18 cases involving an estimated 14 kilograms of diverse drugs, 42,000 psychotropic pills, and an unlicensed firearm with ammunition.

The General Department of Narcotics Control, in its continuous efforts to uphold the law and bolster security measures, successfully executed these arrests, targeting individuals of various nationalities. The seized substances encompassed narcotics such as Shabu, Hashish, Chemical, Marijuana, and Heroin, accompanied by a substantial quantity of psychotropic pills. Additionally, an unlicensed firearm and proceeds from drug sales were seized.

Following interrogation, the detained individuals confessed to owning the confiscated items for the purpose of trafficking and abuse. Consequently, both the suspects and the seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities to initiate the necessary legal proceedings against them.
