Kuwait Cuts Public Sector Staff Attendance, Public Transportation To 50 Percent
In its meeting today, Monday, the Council of Ministers took several decisions related to combating the spread of the Corona virus epidemic, which are:
The percentage of the number of workers in government workplaces shall be determined not to exceed 50%, and each government agency shall determine the appropriate percentage for it, not exceeding these limits, and the decision shall work from Wednesday, corresponding to the 12th of this month, until further notice, and assign the Civil Service Bureau to implement the decision.
Calling on the private sector to reduce the number of workers in workplaces to the minimum possible for the conduct of business, and emphasizing on workers in nurseries and children’s clubs the need to complete immunization against the Corona virus, as well as ensuring that they adhere to the application of health requirements.
