The General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigation recently raided and shut down two fake maids' offices in Sabah Al-Nasser. These offices were found to be sheltering 9 expats who violated residence laws and were engaged in daily labor activities.

A separate operation in the Salmiya area resulted in the arrest of 13 expats for a variety of violations. Among those apprehended were 6 expats under Article 20 (domestic labor visa) regulations, 8 expats for absconding, 6 expats without valid documentation, one person under Article 18 (private sector work visa), and one individual taken into custody for their involvement in another person’s arrest.

It is evident from these actions that the authorities are committed to enforcing the country's residence laws and protecting the nation's workers from harm.
