Kuwait Arrests 206 People For Violating Residency And Work Laws
A total of 206 people have been arrested for violating residency and work regulations in the Capital, Farwaniya, and Al-Ahmadi governorates by the General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations. Various departments were involved in the enforcement initiative, including the Department of Research and Investigation, the Department of Control and Coordination, the Department of Financial, Administrative, and Maintenance Services, the Tripartite Committee, and the Department of Follow-Up for Violents.
There have been arrests in the Qibla region of the Capital Governorate, the Farwaniya Governorate, and the Fahaheel area of the Al-Ahmadi Governorate. Notably, nine individuals were apprehended during a targeted operation focused on women’s salons in Hawalli Governorate. As all arrested individuals are referred to the appropriate authorities for further action, they are undergoing legal procedures.
