Kuwait Amir's Memorial Prayers Will Be Held At Two Holy Mosques

On Sunday, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Prophet's Mosque will hold absentee funeral prayers for Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The prayers will be held following the noon prayers, the Presidency said in a tweet on its X account. On Saturday, the Kuwaiti Amiri Diwan mourned the passing of Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, declared the 40-day national mourning, and suspended work at all state departments until Tuesday night.
