Head of the temporary sports council for Kuwait’s weightlifting team Salah Bahman confirmed on Monday Al-Tadamun are champions of the West Asian Club Championship which was held in Bahrain Sunday (last night).
In a statement to KUNA, after receiving the participating team back home, Bahman said our champions won 22 medals (11 gold, 5 silver, 6 Bronze) in the tournament that included the juniors, youth, and mens categories. After three years of being suspended from participating in sports events, this achievement solidifies the efforts of the sportsmen of Kuwait, said Bahman.
