Kuwait Airways recently celebrated the acquisition and delivery of its latest addition, the "Burgan" Airbus A320neo aircraft, marking the ninth of its kind set to join the commercial service lineup. This strategic expansion has propelled the airline's total fleet to an impressive 33 aircraft, further solidifying its position in the aviation industry.

Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan, Chairman of Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC), expressed enthusiasm in a statement on Sunday, highlighting the significance of the new addition. With the introduction of the "Burgan" Airbus plane, the fleet now comprises a diverse array of aircraft, including three A330-200s, seven A320-200s, and ten Boeing 777-300 ERs.

Al-Fagaan shared additional details about the KAC fleet, revealing the inclusion of nine A320neo carriers and four A330-800 planes. He also disclosed ongoing plans for expansion, citing a recent agreement with Airbus for the acquisition of six neo321A and ten 777-300ER carriers in the coming years.

Describing the newly procured "Burgan" aircraft, Al-Fagaan emphasized its state-of-the-art technology, ensuring both passenger comfort and fuel efficiency. This aligns with the airline's commitment to providing cutting-edge, eco-friendly travel solutions.

Founded in 1943, Kuwait Airways Corporation took its inaugural flight in 1954, and in 1962, the Kuwaiti government acquired full ownership. Today, the airline continues to evolve and expand its fleet, offering passengers advanced and sustainable air travel experiences.
