Indian Embassy To Host Indian Healthcare Expo In Kuwait
For the first time in Kuwait, Embassy of India will host a ‘Best of Indian Healthcare Expo 2019’ on on 17 and 18 of March 2019 at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The Expo is being organised in association with the Indian Doctors Forum (IDF), Kuwait Medical Association (KMA), Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). More than 20 Exhibitors including the leading Indian hospitals and healthcare centers, alternative healthcare providers, wellness centers and prominent medical package planners, from several cities in India will attend the exhibition, Indian Ambassador o Kuwait Sri K Jeeva Sagar told in a press briefing.
"There is a big knowledge gap among the Kuwaitis about the latest and well advanced Indian Medical facilities. We are aiming to remove the gap by showcasing the best Indian medical facilities to the Kuwaiti friends and creating awareness about the big differences in treatment cost in India compared to other advanced countries," Ambassador K Jeeva Sagar said. "Indian hospitals provide world class facilities and treatment in very low cost compared to some advanced countries," he added. This will be a huge benefit for Kuwaitis and other foreign nationals living in Kuwait, he added.
Globally reputed healthcare providers including Apollo Hospital, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Aster DM Healthcare, Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences, Saifee Hospital, Unity Care and Health Services, Iqraa Hospitals, A.J. Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Asten Orthopaedic Hospital, Metromed International Cardiac Center, Advancells, Aryavaidyasala Kottakal, Somatheeram Ayurveda Village, Ayur Green, and a whole host of other healthcare providers from India will be attending teh exhibition to showcase their latest facilities in health care.
This Exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity for citizens and residents in Kuwait to witness some of the most highly advanced medical technologies which would be on display, and also to interact with some of the top Indian medical experts from various medical disciplines.
KMA Secretary General Dr Salam Al Kandari, , IDF representatives Dr vinod Grower, dr Amir Ahmad, Dr Jagannath, IBPC President Mr Shivy Bhasin were also present during the press briefing.
The 2-day exhibition will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on Sunday and Monday, 17 & 18 of March 2019 at Hotel Radison Blu (Al Hashemi Foyer), Kuwait.
