Implementation Pathway For Projects

The Minister of Public Works and State Minister for Municipality Affairs Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan recently presided over a lengthy meeting with officials at the Ministry of Public Works to discuss various topics related to the ministry’s work, including the implementation of current projects and the completion rates of these projects. Al-Mashaan instructed the ministry’s officials to remove all obstacles to the implementation of these projects stressing the necessity of adhering to contract specifications to ensure optimal completion and to fully benefit from these projects.
During the meeting, the sector heads reviewed the work plans for each sector and highlighted the most important works that must be completed within 100 days and during the current fiscal year 2024/2025. The minister also discussed projects within the development plan and the government’s work program — the most prominent of which are Kuwait International Airport ‘Passenger Terminal 2’, railway link between Kuwait and Riyadh, Umm Al-Hayman purification station, Maternity Hospital, and radical solution for road maintenance in all governorates by floating 12 contract tenders. She underscored the need to implement all relevant procedures as per the governance and digital systems to ensure enhanced transparency and integrity, as well as better services.
