Imawis Announces The Winner Of Logo Design Competition

Indian Muslim Association Weekend Islamic School (IMAWIS) launched a ” Logo Design Competition” during the last month, the month of June, for adults and children to have a logo designed for its weekend school. Many talented artists participated in the competition. WIS – Weekend School Administration received a number of stunning, beautiful and eye-catching logos from people of all faiths. A panel of Judges consisting Mr. Jafar Sadiq, Mr. Ahmad Ali, Mr. Arshad Khan, Mr. Rizwan Danish and Mr. Nisar Ahmad reviewed all the received logos. Logo designed by Mr. Abdul Quddus was adjudged the best and he was declared the winner of the Competition. He was presented with the prize at an event organized by IMAWIS Board Chairman and Members.

IMA Kuwait is a renowned socio-religious Association, known for its welfare activities among the Indian community in Kuwait. IMA Weekend Islamic School (IMAWIS) is its recent initiative, introduced to provide quality Islamic education for boys and girls of the age group between 5 and 14. It offers online classes every Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm. Many students from different communities in Kuwait have registered themselves so far and started attending their regular weekly classes on Imaniyat, Seerah, Islamic Adab, Hifdh, Duas etc.  Furthermore, Urdu language is also being taught at IMAWIS by well trained and experienced teachers.
