High School Exam Leak Convictions: 10 And 7 Years In Prison
In the recent case involving the unauthorized dissemination of high school exam content through WhatsApp groups, the Criminal Court has handed down its verdict. A male and female citizen now face 10 and 7 years of imprisonment, respectively, accompanied by valid work. Additionally, another male and female citizen have received one-year prison sentences each, along with active work.
Responding to the exam leakage case, the Public Prosecution has opted to detain the accused for 21 days, followed by their transfer to the central prison. The charges against the defendants extend beyond the exam leak itself and include money laundering through the illegal acquisition of funds.
Earlier police investigations uncovered the involvement of additional individuals and outlined the specific roles played by each accused in the unauthorized dissemination of high school exams. Furthermore, the investigations revealed the illicitly acquired monetary gains, which were deposited into their accounts as a result of their criminal activities.
