Health Warning: Part Time Maids May Spread Corona Virus

 The health sources warned again for those who hire domestic workers (maids) on a part time basis may carry a high risk of spreading coronavirus.

The Ministry of Health has stated to have comprehensive medical examinations to ensure that domestic workers are free from infection, whether they were recently recruited or have renewed their residence to guarantee full safety of these workers.

The part time maids who provide their services for more than one family on an hourly basis may carry some form of viral infection. Unlike the resident maid whose health condition is known to the household where she is working. Part time maids work for specific hours and leave and may not disclose their health issues or symptoms they are suffering, reports al rai. Health sources have called on to exercise caution and ensure their health and safety to avoid getting infected.
