Hawalli Patrol Apprehends Suspect With Drugs; Burglary Reported In Al-Mutlaa Desert

The Hawalli patrol officers made a significant arrest after intercepting an individual attempting to evade a checkpoint in the Hawalli area. This person was found in possession of a variety of illicit drugs. A security source reported that officers observed the suspect attempting to turn his vehicle in the opposite direction upon encountering the checkpoint. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the individual was sought in connection with multiple criminal and civil cases. A precautionary search ensued, resulting in the discovery of narcotics in the suspect's possession.

The suspect was swiftly apprehended, and the confiscated drugs were handed over to the appropriate authorities for further scrutiny.

In a separate incident, a Kuwaiti citizen lodged a report at the Jahra police station, detailing a burglary at their property in the Al-Mutlaa desert area. The perpetrator allegedly stole several items including an electrical machine, electrical wires, a television set, and a pressure cooker. According to the citizen's statement, the perpetrator gained access through the property's main gate and carried out the theft while the owner was away on their weekly vacation. Authorities are actively pursuing leads to locate the suspect.
