Hate Speech Clampdown In Kuwait

The General Administration of Security Relations and Media has announced that the Ministry is taking legal action against individuals who have jeopardized national unity by making statements that insult tribes and various segments of our society.

It is emphasized that the Ministry of Interior will not tolerate verbal or behavioral abuse, the incitement of sectarian or tribal tensions, or any attempts to justify or promote hatred, discrimination, or incitement through any means, including social media. The Ministry will take decisive action against those who engage in such behavior, reaffirming the principle that everyone is subject to the law.
