Gulf Citizen Arrested For Assaulting Customs Inspector At Salmi Port

An incident occurred at the Salmi port where a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) citizen was arrested for assaulting a customs inspector. Sources revealed that the altercation unfolded when the individual arrived in the country via the Salmi port. During a routine vehicle search conducted by customs officers, a disagreement arose between the citizen and the inspectors, escalating into a physical assault from his side. Security personnel swiftly intervened, apprehending the individual on the spot. Subsequently, he was escorted to the police station where a case was filed against him. Presently, he remains in custody pending further investigation.
