Gcc National Died In A Tragic Accident In Mutlaa
A GCC national died in a tragic accident in Mutlaa. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry received information on the accident. When they arrived at the scene, the paramedics discovered that the GCC national has already succumbed to his injuries.
The Criminal Evidence Department officers referred the victim’s body to Forensics. Meanwhile, an expatriate suffered from smoke inhalation when a flat on the fifth floor of a residential building in Salmiya area was engulfed in flames.
When the Control Room of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate received information about the flat on fire, firefighters rushed to the location, evacuated all the tenants from the building and extinguished the fire within a short time.
The expatriate who suffered from smoke inhalation was referred to the nearest hospital for treatment by paramedics. Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the fire. And, fire engulfed a vehicle in Fahaheel Industrial Area but no injuries were reported.
;According to security sources, when the Control Room of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) received information about the vehicle on fire, firefighters rushed to the location and extinguished the fire that erupted in the vehicle’s engine. Necessary action was taken.
In another development, Firefighters for Shuwaikh Industrial and Ardiya fire stations extinguished a fire that erupted in the attic of a shop in the birds market and prevented it from spreading, reports Al-Rai daily.
The attic was used as a store, and the fire destroyed the attic and all the contents completely. Also, firemen from the Mubarak Al-Kabir fire center, acting on information rushed to the Seventh Ring Road and put out fire to a truck loaded with fruits and vegetables, reports Al-Rai daily. The truck was totally destroyed. Investigations are underway to identify the cause of fire.
