Flights From Kuwait Landed In India - Vande Bharat Mission

Air India today successfully operated two services to India for stranded Indian passengers from Kuwait.

Air India flight AI 988 from Kuwait landed at Hyderabad''s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport 10.07 p.m., with 163 passengers on board.

Another Air India flight with 177 Indian nationals and 4 infants has landed in Kochi around 11pm on Saturday under Indian government's Vande Bharat mission.

Earlier, the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sri K Jeevasagar oversees the departure at Kuwait International Airport. He thanked the Kuwaiti Authority for their help and support to facilitate the transfer of stranded Indians from Kuwait. The priority was given to person who require immediate medical treatment, Pregnant ladies and elderly people.

Air India will operate more flights to Chennai, Ahmedabad and Kozhikode in coming days.
