Firdous Police Arrest Heroin Trafficker
Using a meticulously planned ambush, investigators from the Al-Firdous police station captured a drug dealer in the Salmiya area.
Al-Anba daily reported that an Asian was arrested for selling heroin and shabu to young people.
In response to a tipoff received by the Investigations Director of Farwaniya Governorate, securitymen obtained a warrant from the Public Prosecution, laid siege to the man and arrested him.
Detectives from the Al-Firdous police station were assigned to monitor and gather information about the suspect as a result of this intelligence. Through extensive surveillance and diligent tracking, it was determined that he was actively engaged in drug sales to youth in the Salmiya and Hawalli regions.
A security team raided the man's apartment and found 22 sachets of heroin, 30 sachets of shabu, 8 pieces of hashish, narcotic pills, and a precision weighing scale.
During interrogation the suspect confessed to his involvement in the illegal narcotics trade. In addition to the seized contraband, the suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.
