Final Decision On Sixty Plus Residency This Week

The Board of Directors of the Public Manpower Authority PAM will be meeting next Wednesday to resolve the issue of residency for expatriates above sixty years of age without university, local Arabic newspaper reported.

According to report, the meeting is expected to officially cancel the decision, which the Fatwa and legislation department nullified earlier.

The sources indicated that there is an understanding between the members of the PAM to cancel the sixty decision in the upcoming meeting, and direct the concerned authorities to reissue work permits for this segment again. It is also expected that a new proposal is on the table to impose a renewal fee of 250 dinars and the requirement of health insurance for this category.
