Filipinos Arrested; 5 Citations Issued

As part of security crackdown in Bneid Al-Gar the security authorities have arrested two Filipino women and issued 15 traffic citations to motorists for committing various traffic offences.

The Al-Anba daily said one of the two Filipino women — born in 1979 — were arrested at a checkpoint set up by the securitymen. She was wanted by law in a financial case since 2017 and has been staying in the country illegally.

The other Filipina, born in 1989, was allegedly reported absconding 4 years ago.
