The field inspection teams of the Public Authority for Manpower, in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry assigned by the Council of Ministers, continue field inspections tours to limit the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The commission’s director-general, Iman Al-Ansari, told KUNA on the sidelines of the inspection tour at the Capital Mall that PAM has the status of a judicial police force, and in cooperation with the relevant authorities, it conducts inspection tours to limit the spread of the pandemic in light of the state’s confrontation with an increase in the number of infections, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Al-Ansari confirmed the assigned government teams, with the help of teams from the Ministry of Interior and the National Guard, are closely monitoring all activities especially at commercial centers to ensure health requirements are respected around the clock, seven days a week.

The sources said the plan was prepared for the women’s field team to inspect hotels and wedding halls in implementation of the Cabinet decision which was issued on January 3.

The sources noted the Kuwait Hotels Association showed its full cooperation by sending instructions and continuing to emphasize adherence to health requirements for all its employees.

The sources have called on all citizens and residents to cooperate and abide by the health requirements issued by the Ministry of Health to bring the infections to the lowest level.
