Fashionista Arrested On Suspicions Of Money Laundering
The Public Prosecution has issued a warrant for the arrest of a fashionista known as Jamal Al-Najada based on allegations that he offended the Public Prosecution in an audio recording.
According to sources privy to Al-Najada’s case, the Public Prosecution sent to the concerned agency an arrest warrant for immediate execution after the fashionista reportedly offended the members of the Public Prosecution in an audio recording following interrogations on a money laundering case and his release on bail worth KD 20,000.
In the audio recording which went viral, Al-Najada can be heard saying how the Public Prosecution is pursuing famous people who have three million and leaving people with billions.
Upon a request from the Public Prosecution the Cybercrime Department of the Criminal Investigation Department has arrested Fashionista Jamal Al-Najada, reports Al- Qabas daily.
The daily added, an arrest warrant and summons was issued against Al-Najada following a request from the Cybercrime Investigation Department and the Deputy Attorney General. The warrant was issued against the background of posting an audio recording attributed to her and contained serious abuses to the Public Prosecution Office following her investigation by the Financial Investigation Unit on suspicions of money laundering.
