Expats' Whatsapp Accounts Impersonated By Fraudsters

An elderly Kuwaiti citizen accused an Indian expatriate of fraud amounting to 370 Kuwaiti dinars, which was investigated by Hawally detectives. Investigators have determined that the accused is innocent of the charge, Al-Anbaa reported. Furthermore, the investigation revealed that the WhatsApp message that implicated the accused was not sent using his WhatsApp account. The accused was most likely targeted and involved in fraudulent activities by specialized gangs seeking to open a WhatsApp account in his name.
