Employees' Secondment Services Terminated By The Ministry
Managing Director of the Central Administration for Secondment System at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Eng. Ibrahim Al-Khaza issued a decision to terminate the services of seconded employees such that their last working day is at the end of this month, reports Al-Anba daily.
A circular distributed by the ministry explained that the decision was influenced by a recent Central Committee meeting that came to an agreement, which took into account the conflict between the seconded employees' work and the Labor Law, which was recently concluded.
Public Authority for Manpower's letter number 19120 dated Nov 22, 2023 regarding the permissibility of seeking assistance from foreign employees who hold an Article 18 visa (private sector employees) states that such a practice violates the Labor Law, according to Khaza.
