Elderly Woman Arrested For Smuggling Family Over The Salmi Border

According to Al-Anba Daily, an elderly woman tried to smuggle her son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren through the Salmi border in a vehicle. When Salmi border officers saw an elderly woman driving a four-wheel drive vehicle, they became suspicious. Officers were surprised to find the above-mentioned individuals hidden in the vehicle when they searched it. Due to a lack of documents, these individuals failed to relocate here from a neighboring country. In preparation for her referral to the Public Prosecution, the elderly woman is now being held at the Salmi Police Station, while the smugglers have been ordered to return to the neighboring country via Al-Raqi.
