Egypt: A Man Died In Sujood Prayer

Egyptian media reported that an Egyptian man was killed when he prostrated at a mosque in the village of Shobeir in the Tanta Governorate, where he was believed to be from.

He was praying Isha in the Al Salam Mosque when worshipers noticed he had not risen from sujood and remained motionless after the prayer had ended.

The worshippers went to the man after offering their salaams and they attempted to revive him but they failed. As a result of this the man was pronounced dead at the nearest hospital.

Villagers reported that the deceased was known in the neighbourhood for his morals and integrity, and that he regularly attended prayer services at the mosque.

As his death was described as a good conclusion, users expressed their sympathy on social media, asking Almighty Allah to grant him a place in paradise.
