Driver And Cement Mixer Seized For Waste Disposal

In Barr Al-Mutlaa, the General Traffic Department apprehended an expatriate and a cement mixer involved in the disposal of cement waste. The expatriate was detained, and the mixer was impounded in the detention garage. A citizen posted a video showing a driver discarding cement waste in Barr Al-Ahmadi, triggering this action.

Following the incident, both the company owning the mixer and the driver were identified, seized, and detained. The mixer operator claimed ignorance of the violation. These activities are punishable by imprisonment for three to ten years and fines ranging from 20,000 to 200,000 dinars for those who engage in them.
