Don’t Misuse Id During Curfew Hours

08 March 2021 Lockdown

The Directorate- General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has warned some operators at the Kuwait International Airport not to misuse ‘exemption permits’ which have been issued during the curfew period, while transporting workers to and from work, because as per instructions they are required only to show their official ID, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The Deputy Director-General for the Kuwait International Airport Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Fadaghi, said in a circular, a copy of which has been obtained by the daily, that based on the Ministry of Interior’s decision to exempt certain categories from requesting security clearance during the curfew if the ID is misused the violators will be subjected to legal liability. He called on the authorities operating at the airport to provide a follow-up mechanism for employees.

Meanwhile, some cooperative societies have launched the home delivery service to supply consumer goods and drugs from pharmacies affiliated to the co-ops to all regions of Kuwait during the curfew hours, reports Al-Qabas daily. The daily quoting co-op sources said the fees for the home delivery range between one and three dinars per order. However, some co-operative societies said they will close doors at 4 pm during the curfew period until permits are issued for their workers.
