Don’t Leave Homes, Unless Necessary: Interior Ministry

The Ministry of Interior has called on citizens and residents not to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary due to the wave of rain that the country is currently witnessing.

The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the ministry called on road users to exercise caution and “not to hesitate, when necessary, to call the emergency phone (112) or civil defense operations (1804000) for any humanitarian, security or traffic assistance,” reports Al-Rai daily.

Meanwhile, the daily said the Mangaf Tunnel going towards Fahaheel has been completely closed due to clogged rain water outlets.
