Domestic Worker Complaints Services Activated Through Online
Local Arabic newspaper Alqabas reported that The Information Systems Department of the Public Authority for Manpower has activated a new set of electronic services for domestic labor recruitment offices. The authority has started receiving transactions for the renewal of licenses for expired offices through the electronic forms system on the website to facilitate the auditors.
The sources affirmed the administration’s keenness to end the stranded labor procedures without personal attendance, as it also did “online” domestic worker complaints services, while this procedure will be followed by awareness-raising campaigns for beneficiaries of this service in different languages to clarify the mechanism of use.
They indicated that the director of the administration, M. Rabab Al-Osaimi is directly following up the new automated system that was recently activated for the authority’s electronic services through the electronic forms system by providing the required technical support in the various work departments to end any problem or notice from business owners.
And They continued: The total number of transactions completed through the authority’s automated systems from January 12 to this March exceeded 500 thousand transactions, including more than 200 thousand renewal of work permits for workers residing in the country.
