Doctors Born To Kuwaiti Women With Expat Spouses Have Employment Benefits

According to Al-Rai daily, Kuwaiti Health Minister Dr Ahmed Al-Awadi issued a ministerial decision to amend the mechanism for hiring doctors born to Kuwaiti women married to foreigners. As per sources, the decision stipulates better employment benefits for these doctors:

■ end of service privileges,
■ right to promotion with the corresponding financial benefits,
■ career advancement and job title modification
■ job security Sources said this is a continuation of a previous decision to directly employ doctors born to Kuwaiti women married to non-Kuwaitis.
